Multani Mitti (Fuller's Earth) — 100% pure. No added preservatives, no parabens, no artificial colours or fragrance, no harsh chemicals. 100% vegetarian.
The Ritual: Mix 1–2 teaspoons of multani mitti powder with rose water (or plain water) to form a smooth, creamy paste. The clay will darken slightly as it activates — this is normal and means it's ready to work. Apply the paste gently to your face and neck using your fingertips or a brush. Avoid the delicate eye area. Leave it on for 5–10 minutes — this is when the clay is drawing out what your skin doesn't need. As the mask dries, you may feel a gentle tightening. This is the clay at work. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water, using gentle circular motions. Pat your face dry with a soft towel. For Best Results: Use 2–3 times per week, preferably in the evening. This allows your skin to recover its natural oils overnight. If you have very oily skin, you can increase to 4 times weekly. Those with sensitive skin should start with once weekly and build up gradually. Follow with a light moisturizer or facial oil if your skin feels dry after cleansing. Tip: Mix multani mitti with a few drops of tea tree oil for a fresher scent, or with a splash of lemon juice. Store the powder in a cool, dry place with the lid tightly closed. Best before 12 months from packaging (see jar for batch and date). Each time you use it, you're mixing fresh — that's how the clay stays alive.
